Husqvarna Rifle Serial Number Lookup
I have an old Husqvarna rifle with no serial numbers. I am told that the rifle was produced at the Husqvarna factory in Sweden during WW2, and given to the Norwegian. A serial number on the action was not required in the US until the Gun Control Act of 1968, well after most of the Husqvarna rifles were made. Husqvarna 30-06 rifle. I just got my grandfathers Husqvarna rifle. The serial number dates it to 1952.

In 1939 an unknown, but apparently rather large, number of Swedish m/1896 rifles in 6.5×55mm were given to the Finnish Army, with the rifles being used during the 1939-1940 against the Soviet Union and most probably also during the 1941-1944.
