Does any one know where I can download the movie 'ef - a fairy tale of the two' with english subtitles. Or someone/somewhere I can ask to translate it for me? I just can't help myself finishing the series and later finding out that there's a movie that I can't watch without understanding.

Best Answer: ef - a fairy tale of the two is the name of the ef game series. The first game is called ef - the first tale, the second is called ef - the latter tale. ef - the first tale info: ef - the latter tale info: The anime adaptation of ef is ef - a tale of memories and ef - a tale of melodies (melodies starts this October).
Also, they're TV series, not movies. Ef - a tale of memories recollections will be released September 26th. I'm think it's a summary OVA, along with new footage and other stuff?
Not sure, I haven't found out much info about it other than this (and the official site): Conclave & Mendoi has already released all the episodes of ef - a tale of memories (the anime). If you're talking about the games, like cocoli said, NNL has translated some of the first tale, but dropped it later because of the translator. And I doubt they'll translate it for you just because you asked. I'm hoping they'll sub a tale of melodies though.
I'm a Naru Nanao, ef - a tale of memories, and Menclave fan. So it'll make me extremely happy if Conclave/Mendoi (now Menclave) decide to sub melodies. You watched this right? ^ That's actually the OP of ef - the first tale. Some people don't upload it by the right name. Someone uploaded it correctly here: ef - the first tale was released December 22nd, 2006. The anime started fall 2007.

Is a visual novel with a ton of animation. I don't know much about it, as I have never played it, but No Name Losers translated the demo, among other things. They ended up canceling their translation of the entire game, though, and I don't know if another group is picking it up. It also has a sequel (I am assuming that's what it is), called 'ef - the latter tale.' , which is supposedly much better than the former, but nothing related to it is translated at all, that I know of. A movie does not exist, to my knowledge, but I can see why you would think otherwise. Tell us some more.
