Ok - my Xbox is hooked up to the TV using an HDMI cable. I have the USB from the headset hooked up to the back USB port, the 2.5 mm aux hooked from the controller to the headset, and the red/white cables hooked up to the TV. I get nothing. No sound or anything.
What am I doing wrong? I bought the set used from Gamestop. It was already missing the 2.5 aux so I've spent an additional $10 ordering that piece. I'm at the point that I don't care how much it is I want one that just works! The Turtle Beach broke in 4 days when he stepped on it.
